What is the intake process?

Intake is the process of earning membership into Mu Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Inc. For six weeks, potential members will learn about the history and pillars of Mu Beta Lambda while developing lasting relationships with current members and other potential members.
How do I partake in the intake process?

You can start by applying online! In addition to applying, you should make an effort to get to know current members and alumni by attending events. Even if you've already met some of us before, we'll be glad to see you again! Add mubetalambda on Instagram and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date!
Do I have to be a minority to join?

No, being a minority is not a requirement to join Mu Beta Lambda. We pride ourselves in uplifting underrepresented minority students and encouraging diversity across campus. If you feel that our mission and our pillars of Diversity & Culture, Scholarship, Professionalism, Kinship and Community Service align with your personal values, then please apply! We look forward to getting to know you.
What are the expectations for PM's (potential members)?

There's not one "Mu Mold" that every potential member will fit. We expect that every PM will have something different to bring to the table, but will generally be enthusiastic about the organization and share similar values with the organization. In addition to our mission and pillars, we value respect, positivity and being goal-oriented.
What does Mu Beta Lambda do?

Mu Beta Lambda holds external events and fundraisers throughout the semester that contribute to community development, professionalism, scholarship and greater appreciation for diversity on campus and within the community. We also hold internal events that focus on the professional, academic and personal development of our members. These events include roundtables and presentations with sponsor companies, community service, study tables and kinship gatherings.
